Slip-up

This morning we were talking about when Isabel got hit in the head with a hammer while we were building our fence. Don't ask why her Uncle did it and why in the world I had taken her outside while they were working...

We took her to the closest hospital because we were new in the area and realized we should have taken her elsewhere later...

Anyhow, she was asking us why she had a scare from the stitches and Zaquel didn't.

A little background here...when Zaquel was about 18 or 19 months, he split his bottom lip open with a pot. He was trying to put it on his head and it was obviously too heavy. So we took him to Instacare, brilliant I know, and they said they couldn't do it because it was right on the vermilion of the lip and they couldn't match it up exactly. So we trucked up to Primary Children's Hospital and got it taken care of. They were AMAZING! There is no scare whatsoever!

So, back to this morning...as we talked about both incidences, Marcos pipes in and says, "Didn't they seduce Zaquel when they stitched him up?"

I started laughing hysterically! I said they "sedated" him not "seduced" him. Big Difference!

Just a fun little slip-up to start the day off with a laugh! And we really do supervise our kids! LOL!
