Easter Cuties

I know Easter was a few weeks ago...here are the kiddos all dressed up! I am a sucker for dresses especially Spring ones...well, any kind really! I love to dress my girls the same when I can I know it's cheesy, but I will do it as long as I can and get away with it! It is hard to find dresses that match in such different sizes. Briel is in a 24m while Isabel is in an 8 or 10! I do love a good challenge though...luckily, I found these beauties at Costco! Isabel's is a size 6x but it is a big 6x. It all worked out fine and they look ravishing! Wouldn't you agree?

The kids in their Glory!

Zaquel doing his thing, whatever THAT THING is!

Isabel being her lovely little self.

I am not quite sure what Briel is trying to say...:) LOL

We love our Isabel!

I think this is some sort of spiderman pose...or he's got to pee!

What a character!

Bow-Tie Boy!

Zaquel has wanted a bow-tie ever since he saw one of the Boyz to Men wearing one on that show the Sing-off. You remember that one right? Were we the only people who wasted our time with that show????

Anyway, Zaquel saw him in that tie and has wanted one ever since! So, he finally got one! He does look awfully handsome in it! He was so thrilled when I brought it home! Now he wants to wear it every week!

What he didn't know is I got one to go with his Easter outfit too!

Here he is trying to hug Briel, it looks more like choking if you ask me! At least she isn't screaming so it can't be that bad!

Here he is with his "nose-stache" as he calls them. We got it at our ward party the night before.

Baptism Day!

Last month(I know, I know, I am a slacker!) Isabel was baptized! She was so excited for this day to come! She had just been beside herself since she turned 8!

Grandma Laura came over and braided her hair as she got dressed for the big event! We are so proud of her and her choice! She was so calm and peaceful afterward. It was so nice!

Here are all the men from her confirmation circle.

This is not the best picture, but you get the idea we had great refreshments! I was being bothered so much about when we could say the prayer! I was too busy taking pictures before it didn't look like this anymore! LOL!

We had a great day with her! We are so grateful for all our wonderful family and friends!

Primary Laugh for the day

At Lunch today:

Zaquel: Mom, do you know that beans are a magical fruit?

Me: Oh, really. (I was really wondering because we hadn't ever talked about this before if you can believe that!) Why are they so magical?

Zaquel: Because, the more you eat the more you poop!

Me: Who told you that?

Zaquel: Sister Irvine! aka: his primary teacher

So, now I fully understand why the leaders of the church say that Primary, YM/YW are to support the home not take the place of it! Imagine what would happen if we let Sister Irvine do all the teaching! Who knows what he'd learn! LOL!
